About Oxley (ACT)
Oxley is a suburb of Canberra in the Australian Capital Territory, in the district of Tuggeranong. It is the smallest suburb in Canberra, bounded by Drakeford Drive, Taverner Street and Erindale Drive. Gazetted in 1982, the suburb is named after the explorer John Oxley, and its streets are named after social reformers.
