About Taperoo
Taperoo is a coastal suburb in the Australian state of South Australia, located on the Lefevre Peninsula in the west of Adelaide, about 18 kilometres north-west of the Adelaide city centre, within the City of Port Adelaide Enfield. Its western boundary fronts Gulf St Vincent. Residential growth began after World War II, with home construction starting in 1952 and the opening of Taperoo Primary School in 1953.
