About Pinbarren
Pinbarren is a rural town and locality in the Shire of Noosa on the Sunshine Coast hinterland, 35 kilometres from Noosa Heads. Named after Mount Pinbarren, whose name derives from an Aboriginal word, the area is home to the 22-hectare Mount Pinbarren National Park established in 1929 and supports dairy and beef cattle grazing.
