About Glen Aplin
Glen Aplin is a rural locality on the Granite Belt of Queensland, situated approximately 11.2 kilometres south-west of Stanthorpe at an elevation of 762 metres. Named after mine proprietor and pioneer settler Dyson Aplin, the locality is known for its cool climate, fruit orchards and proximity to the Stanthorpe wine region. The New England Highway and Southern railway line both pass through the locality, and Glen Aplin State School serves the local community.
