About Belfield
Belfield is a residential suburb about 13 km southwest of Sydney's CBD in the City of Canterbury-Bankstown, its name combining neighbouring Belmore and Enfield. Early land grants from 1810 supported farming near Punchbowl Road and the Cooks River. One of Australia's first war services home estates was built here in 1921 for World War I veterans.
