About Warriewood

Warriewood is a suburb in northern Sydney, New South Wales, situated 26 kilometres north of the Sydney central business district within the Northern Beaches Council area. The suburb takes its name from the Warriewood Estate subdivided in 1906 by developer Henry Halloran, and today features a mix of detached housing, medium-density development and the Warriewood Square shopping centre. The Warriewood Wetlands, containing several endangered ecological communities, form a significant natural feature at the suburb's northern edge.
