About Mosman

Mosman is an affluent harbourside suburb on Sydney's Lower North Shore, 8 kilometres north-east of the CBD, forming a peninsula between Sydney Harbour and Middle Harbour. Named after the whaler Archibald Mosman who established a station at Mosman's Bay in 1831, it is home to Taronga Zoo, Balmoral Beach and the boutique shopping strip along Military Road. The suburb has one of Sydney's highest median house prices.
