Woodanilling is a small town in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, situated about 254 kilometres south-east of Perth on the Great Southern Highway. The name is Aboriginal in origin, meaning either "lots of minnows" or "place where the bronzewing pigeon nests", and the surrounding area supports cropping and grazing.
