About Willyung

Willyung is a rural locality of the City of Albany in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, situated about 13 kilometres north-east of Albany. Its south-western border follows Albany Highway while Chester Pass Road forms its south-eastern edge. The area is part of the traditional lands of the Menang Noongar people and traces its European origins to the Balston family, with the heritage-listed Willyung Cottage and Stables built in 1893 along the King River.
