About Mukinbudin

Mukinbudin is a small town in the north-eastern Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, about 298 kilometres east of Perth and 80 kilometres north of Merredin, near Lake Campion. It is the main town of the Shire of Mukinbudin, a wheat and sheep farming district, and was gazetted in 1922. The surrounding granite outcrops include Beringbooding Rock, which has one of the largest rock water catchment tanks in Australia.
