About Mount Observation (WA)
Mount Observation is a sparsely populated rural locality in the Shire of York in Western Australia, about 80 km east of Perth on the Great Southern Highway between Mundaring and York. The locality takes its name from Mount Observation, a peak beside the highway that is managed as a parks site with gravel walking paths.
