About Marradong
Marradong is a former town and rural locality in the Shire of Boddington in Western Australia, located approximately 8 kilometres south of Boddington along the Pinjarra to Williams road. Settled in the 1890s, it was the major centre in the region until the 1920s before being largely abandoned when the railway bypassed the town in favour of Boddington. All that remains is St Albans Anglican Church and cemetery from 1894, with the surrounding area now used for wool, beef and broadacre farming.
