About Emu Point

Emu Point is a coastal suburb of Albany in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, at the entrance channel where Oyster Harbour meets King George Sound. Named by a survey ship in 1815, it became a popular camping spot in the early 1900s. The sheltered waters of Oyster Harbour support fishing, boating and one of Western Australia's main pelican breeding places.
