About Woorree
Woorree is an eastern suburb of Geraldton, Western Australia, located seven kilometres east-north-east of the CBD on the south bank of the Chapman River. Gazetted in 1981, its name comes from an Aboriginal word meaning "friendly spirit". The suburb has a semi-rural, family-oriented character with high homeownership and affordable housing.
