About Woodleigh (WA)
Woodleigh is a remote, sparsely populated pastoral locality in the Shire of Shark Bay in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia, inland from Hamelin Pool. It is cattle station country and is known for the buried Woodleigh impact structure, a large multi-ring meteorite crater named after Woodleigh Station and centred about 50 km east of Hamelin Pool.
