About West Lamington

West Lamington is a residential suburb of Kalgoorlie-Boulder in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia. The suburb developed as part of Kalgoorlie's growth following the 1893 gold discovery by Paddy Hannan. It is located close to the Kalgoorlie Super Pit, one of the world's largest open-cut gold mines, and maintains a strong mining community character.
