About Sinclair
Sinclair is a suburb of Esperance on the south coast of Western Australia, in the Shire of Esperance and the Goldfields-Esperance region, about two kilometres west of the town centre. It lies on the traditional land of the Njunga people of the Noongar nation and is home to the Esperance Senior High School. The suburb is named after Laurence Sinclair, a Shetland-born shepherd who worked for the Dempster brothers in the 1870s and later helped find gold at Norseman.
