About North Plantations

North Plantations is a rural horticultural locality on the Gascoyne River flood plain near Carnarvon in Western Australia, about 900 kilometres north-west of Perth. The flat, warm to hot arid land supports intensive plantations producing bananas, tomatoes, capsicums and other tropical and subtropical produce. Carnarvon, which provides all services, is a stopping point between the Shark Bay World Heritage Area and Ningaloo Reef.
