Boyatup is a sparsely populated rural locality in the Shire of Esperance, Western Australia, situated approximately 692 kilometres east of Perth. The locality covers extensive semi-arid country characterised by mallee scrub and granite outcrops, extending to the southern coastline near Tagon Point and the Recherche Archipelago. Land use is predominantly pastoral grazing.
