About King Leopold Ranges
King Leopold Ranges is a locality in the western Kimberley region of Western Australia, within the Shire of Derby-West Kimberley, covering the Wunaamin Miliwundi Ranges, which were known as the King Leopold Ranges between 1879 and 2020. The ranges form the south-western edge of the Kimberley Plateau, and the locality contains the Wunaamin and Miluwindi Conservation Parks, accessed by four-wheel-drive along the Gibb River Road.
