About Anketell
Outer suburban locality in the City of Kwinana, about 35 kilometres south of Perth's CBD, within the Kwinana industrial and urban growth corridor. Named after surveyor Richard John Anketell, who worked on Thomas Peel's early settler land grant in the area, it was later part of the 1920s Group Settlement Scheme. The Kwinana Freeway provides direct access north to Perth.
