About Tapping
Tapping is a modern residential suburb in Perth's northern growth corridor, about 27 km from the CBD within the City of Wanneroo. Developed from the 1990s as part of the Carramar estate subdivision, the suburb is named after an early settler family who arrived in 1886. It features contemporary family housing estates, local parks and schools, with access via Wanneroo Road and the Mitchell Freeway to Joondalup and the city.
