About Mullaloo
Mullaloo is a northern coastal suburb of Perth, about 25 km from the CBD in the City of Joondalup, named from an Aboriginal word said to mean 'place of the rat kangaroo'. Urban development began in the late 1950s, and it is now a beachside residential suburb centred on Mullaloo Beach, its surf life saving club and two primary schools.
