About Coolbinia
Coolbinia is an inner northern suburb of Perth in the City of Stirling, Western Australia, located 6 kilometres north of the Perth central business district. The name Coolbinia is an Aboriginal word for mistletoe and the suburb was named when split from Mount Lawley in 1953. The suburb is served by multiple Transperth bus routes and Walcott Street is a major road through the suburb. Coolbinia is bordered by Yokine, Joondanna, Menora and North Perth, in the state electorate of Mount Lawley and the federal Division of Perth.
