About Red Hill (WA)

Red Hill is a sparsely populated semi-rural locality in the City of Swan, situated on the western face of the Darling Scarp approximately 26 kilometres northeast of Perth. The landscape of low-density acreage properties and bushland is traversed by Toodyay Road on its route up the escarpment into the Wheatbelt, and is best known for the Red Hill Waste Management Facility managed by the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council. The bushland setting and proximity to the Swan Valley and Hills lifestyle precinct centred on Mundaring and Midland make it popular with those seeking a rural lifestyle within reach of the Perth metropolitan area.
