Erskine is a residential suburb of the City of Mandurah in Western Australia, situated approximately 69 kilometres south of Perth. It is bounded by Old Coast Road to the west, with Halls Head on the opposite side, and the Peel Inlet to the east. The suburb is named after Lieutenant Archibald Erskine of the 63rd Regiment of Foot, who arrived in the Swan River Colony in 1830 and served as a Justice of the Peace for the Murray district. Erskine was formally established as a suburb in 1971. The area adjoins the Peel-Harvey Estuary, a Ramsar-listed wetland of international significance. Notable features include the Len Howard Conservation Park, the Erskine Nature Trail, the Mandurah Quay Resort, and the Novara boat ramp providing access to the Peel Inlet. The traditional custodians of the land are the Bindjareb Noongar people.
