About Barragup

Barragup is a locality in the Shire of Murray in Western Australia, near Mandurah on the Serpentine River, north of Pinjarra Road. It is known as the site of the Barragup mungah, an Aboriginal fish trap built across the river, which was in regular use during the nineteenth century and probably for centuries before European settlement.
