About Greenbushes

Greenbushes is a timber and mining town on the Darling Scarp in the South West of Western Australia, about 250 kilometres south of Perth and 17 kilometres from Bridgetown. Founded in 1888 after tin was discovered, it is Western Australia's oldest gazetted minerals field and is home to the world's largest hard-rock lithium mine operated by Talison Lithium. The Bibbulmun Track passes through and the town has a Discovery Centre and Mine Lookout.
