About Eagle Bay
Eagle Bay is a small coastal town in the South West region of Western Australia, about 8 km from Dunsborough in the City of Busselton, near the tip of Cape Naturaliste. The bay was named in 1830 by Governor James Stirling and surveyor John Septimus Roe after their schooner, the Eagle. Today the settlement consists mainly of holiday homes around a white-sand beach inside Meelup Regional Park.
