About Bunbury (WA)
Bunbury is a coastal city in Western Australia, about 175 km south of Perth, the state's third most populous city, at the southern end of the Leschenault Estuary. Known to the Noongar people as Goomburrup, the city was established in 1836 on the orders of Governor James Stirling, and its natural harbour became the main port for the South West region.
