About Wannon

Wannon is a sparsely settled pastoral locality in the Southern Grampians Shire, roughly 19 kilometres west of Hamilton, named after the Wannon River. Best known for Wannon Falls, a 30-metre punchbowl waterfall fed by headwaters from the Grampians mountains, with surrounding land devoted to wool and beef grazing.
