Ellerslie is a small rural locality on the Hopkins Highway in the Western District of Victoria, about 36 kilometres north-east of Warrnambool in the Shire of Moyne. The area has a pastoral history, with a post office that operated from 1869 to 1991, and sits within the traditional country of the Eastern Maar People.
