About Mooroopna North
Mooroopna North is a rural locality in the Goulburn Valley region of northern Victoria, about 5 km north of the town of Mooroopna, with the Goulburn River forming its southern and eastern boundaries. European settlement began in the 1860s with pastoral runs and accelerated in the 1870s through farm selections under the land acts, and the locality's primary school opened in 1875. The area is predominantly farming country on the river flats of the Goulburn.
