About Woosang

Woosang is a rural locality in northern Victoria, spanning the Shires of Loddon and Buloke on Dja Dja Wurrung country, north of Wedderburn. Farm selections opened in the district during the 1870s, and the railway line from Wedderburn Junction to Charlton was built through the area in 1883, with a local school first named Woosang North. The district is wheat and sheep farming country.
