About Wombelano
Wombelano is a rural locality in the West Wimmera Shire of western Victoria, about 25 kilometres north-west of Horsham. The landscape consists of open pastoral and cropping country on the Wimmera plains, with remnant River Red Gums and Buloke trees scattered across the flat to gently undulating terrain. The Grampians and Black Ranges are visible in the distance, and the Wombelano I24 Bushland Reserve provides local habitat protection.
