About Wallaloo East
Wallaloo East is a rural farming locality in the Wimmera district of north-west Victoria, on the plains south of the wheat town of Marnoo. Wheat farming spread across the district in the late 19th century, and a branch railway from Marnoo to Wallaloo was authorised in 1923. The area once had its own school and a football team that competed in local rural leagues.
