About Marlbed
Marlbed is a locality in the Mallee region of north-west Victoria, in the Shire of Buloke, around 280 km north-west of Melbourne. The Marlbed post office opened on 1 August 1888, was renamed Jil Jil on 1 May 1911 and closed on 31 January 1943. Today the surrounding area is sparsely settled farmland.
