About Crymelon
Crymelon is a tiny rural locality in the Shire of Yarriambiack and the Shire of Hindmarsh in north-west Victoria, about 18 km north-west of Warracknabeal. In the early 1900s the district was described as an important Baptist stronghold, and its Baptist church operated from 1900 to 1968. Today little of the settlement remains, and the Crymelon Bushland Reserve, gazetted in 1987, preserves about eight hectares of native bushland.
