About Dromana
Dromana is a seaside suburb on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, about 57 km south of Melbourne's central business district, with Arthurs Seat, the highest point on the peninsula, rising behind it. Its shops and pier face a sandy beach on Port Phillip Bay. From the 1880s the town grew as a seaside resort served by bay steamers, and it later became the administrative centre of the Shire of Flinders.
