About Pascoe Vale

Pascoe Vale is a suburb about 9 km north of central Melbourne in the City of Merri-bek, on the east bank of the Moonee Ponds Creek. It is named after Pascoeville, the farm estate established in 1839 by John Pascoe Fawkner, a founder of Melbourne, which covered more than 700 acres. The suburb grew after the railway line arrived in 1872 and the Pascoe Vale station opened in 1885.
