About Wulgulmerang West
Wulgulmerang West is a mountainous, sparsely populated district in the Buchan area of East Gippsland, reached by unsealed road between Buchan and the Snowy River National Park. Wulgulmerang Creek crosses the district and drops about 300 metres at Little River Gorge into the Snowy River valley, and much of the area is Crown land. Part of the district was burnt in the 2019-20 bushfires.
