About Moondarra
Moondarra is a rural locality in the Baw Baw Shire of Gippsland, Victoria, about 20 kilometres north-east of Morwell. It features hilly, timbered country south of the Baw Baw ranges and was settled for farming in the 1870s. It is the site of the Moondarra Reservoir on the Tyers River and the Moondarra State Park, which protects remnants of the former Walhalla branch railway.
