About Kardella
Kardella is a quiet rural locality in South Gippsland, Victoria, situated approximately 12 kilometres east of Korumburra in rolling pastoral country. The name is an Aboriginal word thought to mean possum, chosen by the Railway Commissioners when the station opened in 1891, and the area features a heritage-listed Avenue of Honour along Kardella-Fairbank Road.
