About Drouin West
Drouin West is a rural locality about four kilometres north of Drouin in the Latrobe Gippsland region of Victoria, centred at the intersection of Old Sale Road and Neerim Road. Settlement began in the early 1870s at Brandy Creek, and the district historically supported dairy farming, though many residents now commute to Drouin and other centres for work. A cemetery on Old Sale Road near a former sawmill site marks the early settlement.
