Allambee is a rural locality in the Baw Baw Shire of Victoria, in the Strzelecki Ranges of Gippsland. The area was settled in the 1870s and encompasses steep, forested country at the head of the Tarwin West River. The name Allambee is an Aboriginal word meaning to sit or to remain a while.
