About Gobur
Gobur is a farming locality in the Strathbogie Ranges of north-eastern Victoria, situated 26 kilometres north of Alexandra within the Murrindindi Shire. Gold was discovered in Godfrey's Creek in 1868, and the township once supported dozens of buildings and hotels during its mining peak before transitioning to grazing and agriculture.
