About Buckland (Vic.)
Buckland is a locality in the Alpine Shire of north-east Victoria, through which the Buckland River flows. Named after pastoralist Thomas Buckland, the area was once a string of gold-mining settlements along the river valley and is known for its picturesque mountain scenery.
