About Boorhaman North
Boorhaman North is a rural locality in the Rutherglen wine region of north-east Victoria, situated on the Ovens River about 222 kilometres from Melbourne in the Rural City of Wangaratta. The area features flat, open country on the upper Ovens River plain within State Forest, with old-growth red gum forest and the Lower Ovens Regional Park nearby. The Boorhaman North Recreation Reserve provides river access for boating, fishing and bushwalking among the large river red gums.
