About Leaghur

Leaghur is a rural locality in the Shire of Loddon, about 25 kilometres south-west of Kerang on the Loddon River floodplain. Leaghur State Park, established in 1992, protects 2,022 hectares of some of Victoria's most significant black box wetlands and woodlands. The pastoral run was taken up in 1845 and the district had a hotel, blacksmith and post office by the 1890s.
