About Lake Marmal

Lake Marmal is a rural locality in northern Victoria, split between the Shires of Buloke and Loddon. The area is named after an intermittent freshwater lake of the same name, which fills from seasonal overflows of the Avoca River. The surrounding land is used for broadacre cropping, sheep grazing and viticulture.
